Activity from the Center for Voter Information and the Voter Participation Center has been a concern of Florida county supervisors, including Broward Supervisor of Elections, Peter Antonacci, who warns about them on his website.

Antonacci was quoted by Orlando Sentinel saying that the group uses inaccurate data tools that can yield incorrect mailers.

The president of the groups, Tom Lopach, told the Sentinel that their goal is to reach unregistered people and that some complaints are inevitable.
