Texans across the state continue to struggle through a historic winter storm, but it seems one senator has had enough of the cold.

Senator Ted Cruz, along with his family, was reportedly spotted hopping on a flight from Houston to Cancun, Mexico, and Texans are not too happy about it.

Many speculated whether or not the senator actually flew to Cancun, but FOX News officially confirmed the theory Thursday morning thanks to a republican source proving the authenticity of the photographs circulating the internet. 

Ted Cruz has already been under fire in recent weeks after some claim he incited the violence that occurred at the Capitol Building on January 6, now many are calling for him to resign.

The Senator himself has not confirmed nor denied the trip to Cancun.

Texans continue to struggle with a winter storm that shut down power for millions in the state on Monday, but Governor Greg Abbott took to Twitter to announce 1.6-million homes have regained power, while 200,000 more will be restored every hour on Thursday.
