Greta Thunberg Just Threw Shade At Ted Cruz After Controversial Tweet
President Joe Biden has officially taken office and began making some pretty significant changes, one being re-joining the Paris Agreement.
This decision was met with some opposition from Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz, as he claims the agreement favors citizens in Paris rather than citizens in Pittsburgh.

By signing this order, President Biden indicates that he's more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh.

Cruz's stance on the agreement was met with much confusion from those who read it, as it doesn't actually have anything to do with the citizens in Paris.
But instead is a legally binding international treaty that brings 175 parties together to help reduce global warming.
Paris was simply the city where world leaders negotiated the agreement back in 2015.
Perhaps one of the most famous climate change activists, 18-year-old Greta Thunberg, took a subtle jab at the Texas senator via Twitter, by now referring to the agreement as "The Pittsburgh Agreement."
Actor Seth Rogen chimed in with a much harsher reply to Cruz and was even met with a comeback from the senator.
President Barack Obama decided to join the agreement towards the end of his term in 2016.
Three years later President Donald Trump made the decision to withdraw the United States from the agreement in late 2019.
