Outdoor gatherings are limited to 25 people in Ontario. 😨

Police from across the GTA joined forces on Saturday night to shut down a huge “impromptu car show” being held at a Cineplex parking lot in Hamilton.

There were so many vehicles involved, police officers from Hamilton Police, Peel Regional Police, York Regional Police and Ontario Provincial Police all attended the scene.

According to CBC News, it’s estimated that hundreds of vehicles were involved in the "impromptu" event, although police declined to say how many people were involved.

The crowd began gathering in the parking lot at around 6 p.m. and everybody had dispersed by 10 p.m.

Officials confirmed that nobody was arrested during the event, but said that officers “shut the party down and sent everyone home.”

Most of those in attendance were young people, say police.

This comes just hours after Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced that gatherings across the province would be limited to just 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors.
