A three-week-old miniature donkey was stolen from a farm in Halton Hills, and police are now investigating.

The furry creature, named Sebastian, was stolen sometime between Thursday, August 19, and Friday, August 20, according to police.

Police say Sebastian was taken from the farm by "unknown person(s)" and that the animal has no distinguishable markings.

Sebastian's owners are pleading for its safe return as the animal is still nursing and too young to be separated from his mother.

Police are asking anyone who may know about Sebastian's whereabouts or about the theft to contact them.
