A Baby Goat Was Just Stolen From Riverdale Farm & Staff Are 'Extremely Concerned'

The goat "likely cried out" when it was taken.

Staff at Riverdale Farm are "extremely concerned" for the wellbeing of one of their baby goats after it was stolen this week.

According to Toronto Police, the 3-month-old Nubian goat named Juniper was taken from her pen between 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, and 7 a.m. on Thursday, May 6.

The goat, who the farm says would never leave her mother's side, would have "likely cried out during the incident," Detective Constable Graham Ellis stated.

Juniper is around 30 pounds and has black and silver fur, brown legs and white ears. She also has a twin named Justine, who was left unharmed in the pen.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the goat is being asked to contact the police at 416-808-5104.
