The tourist destination informed Narcity that the lights on this day were for International Overdose Awareness Day, not for Drake.

However, the CN Tower has put on a special light show for the Toronto hitmaker in the past.

The landmark went all gold for Drake's 2019 Grammy win, at his request.

Drake's new album may drop before Labour Day on September 7, according to Elite Daily, although he has yet to announce an official release date.
