Be careful who you go on secluded dates with. An Ontario woman had a scare after a dating app meetup gone wrong. 

According to OPP, the woman met up with a 26-year-old man on Monday evening at a skate park on Couch Crescent in Quinte West, Ontario, after they connected online.

The suspect allegedly threatened the victim with an edged weapon.

The suspect threatened her with a knife when she tried to leave just before 11 p.m., OPP report. 

According to Global News, she managed to escape by distracting him and then running toward a roadway, where she was able to stop a car and get a ride to the police station.

OPP have confirmed that Skyler Boisclair, 26, has been arrested on four charges — possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, and resisting a peace officer.
