Dave's Hot Chicken is giving away combos to the staff of Parkdale's St. Joseph's Hospital on May 11 in order to thank them for their hard work throughout the pandemic.

The promotion runs for the entire day, and all employees need to do in order to get their free meal is present their hospital badge.

This isn't the first time Toronto restaurants have shown some support for their communities during the pandemic.

Tokyo Hot Fried Chicken offered free meals to those in need, and Fuwa Fuwa sent dessert boxes to frontline workers with every purchase of a pancake.
