With Schitt's Creek having swept the comedy categories at the Emmys last night, people might be wondering what great Canadian comedy to watch next, and luckily, Kim's Convenience is now filming their new season.

Toronto resident Jon Irwin spotted actor Paul Sun-Hyung Lee filming a scene outside of the store set on Queen Street, telling Narcity, "I saw the director and saw them filming a scene where Jean Yoon hits a ball with a tennis racket at him."

He also said that precautions were being taken, even while filming outside, adding "Everyone on the crew was wearing masks even if they weren't close to the set."

Irwin's tweet was shared by the show's Twitter account, with the message, "Good things are on their way."

Sun-Hyung Lee also shouted out the tweet, letting everyone waiting for new episodes know that "Season 5 filming [is] underway!!! #okseeyou."
