'Kim's Convenience' Cast Is Back For Season 5 & They Can't Hide Their Excitement (PHOTOS)

It's finally happening! Kim's Convenience season five is officially underway, and fans aren't the only ones who are getting pumped. Cast members are taking to social media to share their excitement about the upcoming show, and everyone can relate.

If you binged your way through every show on the planet during the lockdown, then good news is on the way.

The fifth season of the hit show Kim's Convenience is in progress, which means you'll be able to indulge in some loveable, hilarious moments once more.

The Canadian series follows the story of a Korean family who runs a convenience store in Toronto.

From unusual customers to totally relatable family interactions, the series has stolen the hearts of viewers across the country.

After season four aired in the spring, the show was approved for two more seasons. 

Now, the cast and crew are hard at work bringing the next chapter of the series to life, according to the show's Twitter.

Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, who plays Appa in the show, shared an image on Instagram as he attended a rehearsal in East York.

Despite the mask covering his face, his caption, "Season 5 baby!" shows he's just as pumped for the new episodes as the fans.

Andrew Phung, who stars as Kimchee, also took to Instagram with a season five update.

He shared a photo of the script with the caption, "And we're back!"

If you can't wait for the new season to come out, you can get your fix by visiting some of the spots around the 6ix where the past seasons have been filmed.  

According to CBC, season five will premiere on their network during winter 2021.

For now, it's time to say "ok, see you" to the upcoming episodes.
