Ontario's Haunted Escape Trail Is Returning & It's Like Being In 'The Walking Dead'

Here's a sneak peek of the terrifying adventure. 🧟

Lead Writer, Travel

There's something sinister lurking behind the colourful leaves at this fall trail, and you might find yourself in your darkest nightmare.

Escape Maze is bringing back its terrifying Haunt Game for a second year starting October 1, and it's even bigger and spookier this season. Located in Peterborough, the 'Stalking Dead' escape game will be filled with scares and challenges.

Escape Maze | Handout

Zombies have infiltrated a research facility that was developing a cure for the zombie outbreak, and now the data has been lost. It's up to you and your team to find the data and enter it into the computer system before it's too late.

Escape Maze | Handout

The game will take you along a spooky gravel road, through an old barn, and into zombie-infested fields.

Escape Maze | Handout

You'll be completely immersed in the terrifying story, and the nighttime game is not recommended for people aged 13 or younger. The daytime game doesn't have as many frights but still contains scary scenes.

Escape Maze | Handout

A group of 4 to 10 players is required for the evening experience, and tickets are available online.

Escape Maze | Handout

The experience sells out fast, so call up your most courageous friends and see if you have what it takes to beat the zombies.

Stalking Dead - The 2nd Wave

Escape Maze | Handout

Price: $20 per adult for the daytime experience, $29.99 per adult for the evening experience

When: October 1 - November 7, 2021

Address: 156 Cedar Bank Rd., Peterborough, ON

Why You Need To Go: This bone-chilling escape trail is full of zombies, and you'll feel like you're in a horror film.
