Ottawa's Famous Kettlemans Bagel Is Opening Its First Downtown Toronto Location This March

Sick and tired of the same old late-night eats? Why not try something new and follow what Ottawans know best, eating bagels past midnight.

Ottawa's famous Kettlemans Bagel is finally opening its sixth location on March 3, 2022. This will be Toronto's second location, but it will be the first store found in the downtown core.

"We're excited to have the opportunity to serve our menu to the downtown Toronto community, who we know are food-obsessed," said Craig Buckley, the CEO and Founder of Kettleman's Bakery.

Known for opening 24 hours and 365 days of the year, Kettlemans Bagel will be located at 33 Bathurst St.

Even though this store is famous in Ottawa, it serves Montreal-styled bagels using a recipe curated in 1993.

The bagels are made daily in a wood-burning oven that customers can see and smell when walking into their stores.

They also have in-house sandwiches, spreads, salads and baked treats available for purchase.

Orders can be made in-person, online via an app and even delivered to you using SkipTheDishes and Uber Eats.

The downtown Toronto location is one of five storefronts that Kettlemans Bagel hopes on opening this year, which will double the number of stores they already have.

In 2020, Kettleman's opened its first Toronto bagel shop in Etobicoke and announced that they'd be opening the second location.

Now, the time has finally come to enjoy and visit that second location for some carb-loaded goodies.
