That's a LOT of vaccines! The huge COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Scotiabank Arena is expected to break a world record on Sunday, after 25,000 people in Toronto booked an appointment to receive their shot.

On June 26, city officials confirmed that tens of thousands of Torontonians had registered to join the "Toronto Vaccine Day" event, which aims to get as many locals vaccinated against COVID-19 as possible.

The clinic — dubbed "Our Winning Shot" — kicked off at 7 a.m. at the Scotiabank Arena.

It's expected to double the current record in Canada for the most people vaccinated at a single-day clinic, which is 10,470.

To beat the record across North America, the clinic will need to give out 17,003 doses.

If the one-day clinic succeeds in administering 25,000 vaccine doses on Sunday, it will break a global record, too!

Although it is fully booked, the City of Toronto said that cancellations are possible and urged those who want a vaccine to continue checking the provincial booking system for appointments.

To make the event extra appealing, Toronto will be giving out free Raptors and Leafs tickets, as well as free rally towels!
