Toronto is closing roads for the Eras Tour — Here's what to know about travelling in the city
Up to 500,000 visitors are expected during the concert series.

"It's been a long time coming but..." Taylor Swift's Toronto Eras Tour is finally here. The city has transformed into a Swiftie paradise complete with themed road signs, photo ops, endless events and more.
Taylor will be performing six sold-out shows at the Rogers Centre between November 14 and 23, 2024. The city is expected to be packed with fans so you'll want to plan ahead if travelling in Toronto.
According to the City of Toronto, "the majority of concertgoers are expected to be visitors from outside of Toronto, with up to 500,000 visitors expected during the nearly two-week period around the concert series."
Several road closures will be in effect during the concerts in order to help residents and visitors travel efficiently around the Rogers Centre.
Here are the closures that will be taking place during the Eras Tour dates:
1 p.m.
Westbound lanes on Bremner Boulevard between Rees Street and Navy Wharf Court. Eastbound lanes will remain open for two-way traffic.
2 p.m.
The following roads will be restricted to local traffic (residents and businesses) only:
- Bremner Boulevard between Spadina Avenue and Simcoe Street
- Northbound lanes on Rees Street will be closed. Southbound lanes will remain open for two-way traffic including an accessible entry point.
- Blue Jays Way between Spadina Avenue and south of Front Street
- The Marriott Hotel will be accessible from Front Street via Blue Jays Way.
- Navy Court Wharf
- Access to condos will be via a police checkpoint at the Spadina Avenue and Bremner Boulevard intersection.
- Lake Shore Boulevard will be reduced to two westbound lanes at the intersection with Rees Street for a drop-off/pick-up point.10 p.m.
These road closures will take place to support crowd control before fans leave the Rogers Centre at the end of the convert:
- Front Street between Blue Jays Way and Simcoe Street
- John Street south of Wellington Street
- Windsor Street south of Wellington Street
11 p.m.
Eastbound and westbound Gardiner Expressway off-ramps to Spadina Avenue will be closed to restrict traffic into the area as concertgoers leave Rogers Centre.
- Additional spot road closures may be needed for crowd and traffic management.
- All roads and ramps will re-open when traffic and crowds dissipate which is expected to be by 1 a.m. following each concert.
After each concert, the City and partners will debrief to see if any road closures need to be adjusted.
The City is encouraging people to take transit, ride share or Bike Share when travelling to and from the Eras Tour. GO Transit is offering special service during concert dates, and companies like Bike Share and Lyft also have promotions to help make your travels easier.
