If you need a reason to smile today, look no further than the new Toronto Zoo tiger cubs.

The Zoo has just announced that three Amur tiger cubs were born on the night of Friday, April 30, and both the mom and the babies are doing well.

The birth is especially important as Amur tigers are classified as endangered according to the Zoo.

The little cubs will have their first veterinary check-up in six to eight weeks, at which time their sexes will be identified.

You might be able to see the tigers for yourself this summer, as the Zoo informed Narcity that it hopes to have them visible should it be able to welcome pedestrians back this summer.
