Find a Canadian mountain town perfect for Tinker Bell. It is time to plan your next road trip to this charming, nature lover's paradise. Fernie in B.C has two secret waterfalls that take under 20 minutes to reach.

The town is three hours from Calgary or seven hours from Kelowna and ideal for a weekend adventure.

Just a short drive from Fernie's picturesque main street, you can reach cascading waterfalls into sparkling pools of water.

Fairy Creek Falls will take you roughly 10 minutes of walking to complete the 2-kilometre path. To begin, head to the Fernie Chamber Of Commerce And Visitor Information Centre.

There you'll find a large sign next to the parking lot, and you can follow the direct route.

The natural wonder is truly fit for a Hans Christan Andersen story. Like you'd expect to find in an enchanted glen, there is a fairy statue perched on a red and white toadstool.

Matheson Falls will take a bit more searching but is worth the effort. The best time to visit is from mid-July to the end of October.

To find it head to Coal Creek Road until you reach the bridge past the yellow 41 marker sign.

Here you'll find a parking lot, and you can follow the path along the creek. Roundtrip the journey is 2.5-kilometres, so expect to walk 15 minutes each way.

It would be good to wear waterproof shoes with a good grip. You will need to cross slippery rocks and shallow sections of the creek.

According to Tourism Fernie, "it's virtually impossible to get a bad photo here." Once you arrive, it a peaceful spot to sit down and watch the water tumble over moss-covered rocks into a pool of blue water.

Forget what TLC says; these are two natural sights you are going to want to chase.
