BC Just Beat Its Own Record For The Most COVID-19 Cases In A Day

Dr. Bonnie Henry addressed the public in a press conference on Thursday, September 17 about the latest B.C. COVID-19 numbers and apparently, the province has set a new record.

One week ago, the record for COVID-19 cases in the province was 139 cases.

With 165 new COVID-19 cases in one day, the previous record is shattered.

These new cases bring the total number up to 7,663 in B.C. alone.

The health official also noted that there’s been one additional death bringing the provincial death toll up to 219 with 5,646 people recovered.
