Although times are a little bit different than usual right now, one of the silver linings of the situation is that this might just be the perfect moment to sit back and reflect on what you want your future to look like.

After all, in the face of the global pandemic, certain activities have come to a pause — but our dreams of advancement through educational advancement and career progression don’t need to.

A graduate degree is definitely something to consider whether you want to move up the career ladder, start your own business, or shift gears and change careers altogether. Maybe you're down for a job with a little more freedom, one that lets you travel the world or pays a lot more.

Whatever your motivation for pursuing a graduate degree, you're still probably going to need a whole lot of information and tips; this is exactly where two great events, going down digitally on Tuesday, September 15, come to help you out.

QS

The QS Virtual MBA Event and QS Virtual Grad School Event help prospective students connect with the world's top graduate schools and get all of their MBA- or grad school-related questions answered — all for free.

This year, both events will be going down on September 15, 2020, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the B.C. area and 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. for Alberta. Attendees will be able to tune in via a personalized Zoom link upon booking their meetings, which means you’ll be able to speak with top schools from the comfort of your own home!

The Virtual MBA Event will feature 15+ top business schools including UBC - Sauder, U of T - Rotman, Simon Fraser U, York - Schulich, and McGill U. You'll also be able to participate in a virtual alumni panel, attend a Q&A Happy Hour to network with QS staff and fellow attendees, gain helpful test prep info, and receive a professional resume review after attending the event.

The Virtual Grad School Event will feature 15+ top graduate schools from around the world including UBC, Columbia, Imperial College, and York U. You’ll be able to attend helpful info sessions and seminars and receive a professional resume review after attending the event.

Upon attending either of the events, you’ll also get access to a pool of scholarships totalling $5.8 million USD. So, future MBA and grad students, if you’re looking for a unique online opportunity to meet with admissions representatives from top-ranked grad schools around the globe, then this just might be for you.

Closer to the event date, the QS team will contact you to review your profile and match you with the schools and programs that best suit your goals and ambitions. Discover which MBA or grad program is right for you by speaking directly to admissions representatives.

Just don't forget to register for free here for MBA and here for grad — spots are limited!
