This is the second time in a row!
Contributor

Let's go Canada! It looks like the True North has once again cracked the list for the best national brands in the world.

The latest best-ranking award for Canada this year sees the country named as the 3rd best "nation brand" out of 50 countries, according to a survey released Tuesday.

Per the 2020 Anholt-Ipsos Nation Brands Index, this is the second time in a row that Canada has snagged one of the top spots.

In the same poll, Canada came in first in three separate categories such as investment, governance, people and immigration.

Jason McGrath Senior Vice President of Ipsos U.S told Global News that he was not surprised to see Canada get some major top spots.

He also added that the country is "perceived quite strongly."

"(Canada) performs extremely well and it performs quite consistently with what we’ve seen in past years, despite the fact that this year we do see a bit more of a shakeup in our rankings,” he said.

This comes months after ranking as the 2nd best country in the world.

Canada also ranked in at top 10 in entrepreneurship, citizenship, open for business and of course number one for quality of life.
