The best restaurants in Calgary were just put to the test, in OpenTable's recent list of 'Icon' spots in the city.
Calgary's food scene is known for its mouthwatering options but this list breaks down the "best of the best" spots to try if you're in the city. There's a little something for everyone on the list, including refined eateries and tasty brunch places.
"OpenTable has launched Icons, a new destination and designation for its best of the best restaurants. The list of Icons was designed to reflect the iconic status of these restaurants with enhanced branding and an elevated search experience," the release said.
You can taste your way through the city, whether you're visiting for a weekend or are a local trying to get in some good eats. Make sure to book a reservation ahead of time because this list is made up of the top spots in the city, so they're busy!
"To earn the designation of an OpenTable Icon, restaurants must meet criteria including accolades like MICHELIN stars and recognition, inclusion in Canada's 100 Best or enRoute & Air Canada's Best New Restaurants, positive diner and critic reviews, celebrated chefs, and strong diner interest, among other factors," the release added.
