This Lotto 6/49 winner in Alberta has beat the odds yet again, bringing home multiple lottery wins! In total, the lucky Lethbridge local has won a whopping $2.5 million in less than nine months from three different lottery wins.

David Serkin's most recent score was the $1 million prize on the May 3 Lotto 6/49 Classic draw. That came after his August Lotto Max windfall of $500,000 and his $1 million Lotto 6/49 win in November.

Serkin has been playing since 1982, and it has paid off. The Alberta man won the $1 million prize on the May 3 Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball draw with the selection: 24645097-05.

He bought the ticket while getting gas from Shell Lethbridge, thinking to himself, "What do I have to lose?"

Understandably, people were shocked by yet another win. Serkin said that his wife is "still in disbelief," but he plans to use the winnings to go on a trip to Newfoundland together.

As for how Serkin feels about his luck? He says that he's still buying tickets. "I know the odds are astronomical," he told WCLC, adding, "I don't think it'll happen again, but I still like buying tickets."

"I'm a cancer survivor and I'm retired, so I am just grateful for all of it," he added.
