A stunning new spa is set to open in 2025, and it will let you soak in steaming waters while taking in the breathtaking views of the Canadian Rockies. Located just two hours from Calgary, this dreamy spot is perfect for the ultimate weekend escape.

The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise has unveiled the Basin Glacial Waters — a "thermal bathing experience" nestled in the legendary Rocky Mountain landscape. Opening in the summer of 2025, this luxurious spa will be available exclusively to hotel guests, offering an unforgettable retreat alongside the iconic Lake Louise.

According to the press release, the spa will combine indoor and outdoor spaces, featuring a "direct glacial water source" and a thermotherapy journey. Guests can enjoy saunas, steam rooms, and an infinity pool, as well as pools with varying temperatures, including an icy plunge pool and a cold bucket drop for an invigorating boost.

If relaxation is what you’re after, the spa also includes a soothing salt room where you can fully unwind. The photos reveal an ultra-luxurious design, perfectly framed by the dramatic beauty of the mountains.
