A Calgary Pizza Spot Just Ranked In Canada's Top 10 & They Have Pickle Pizza
Calgary is full of tasty options when it comes to amazing slices, but Pizza Face YYC just made this year's top 10 list of best pizzerias in Canada and we're here for it.
The international 50 Top Pizza Guide is put together by well-known food experts in Italy, so they obviously know what they're talking about.
Tony Migliarese is a co-founder of the small pop-up pizza shop and he told Narcity that they're surprised but excited by the achievement.
"We don’t take ourselves too seriously but we do take the pizza seriously," said Migliarese.

This small pop-up pizza shop serves stone-baked New York-style pizzas and on the menu is a pickle pizza. We know it sounds weird, but it's their most talked-about dish. Honestly, don't knock it 'till you try it.
When asked what sets their pizza apart, Migliarese credits the dough his business partner, Mike Garth, spent years perfecting.
"It is both chewy and crunchy," described Migliarese.
The Calgary spot is actually the only pizzeria in the Prairies to make the list. It's alongside five spots in Montreal, two in Toronto, one in Quebec City and another in Vancouver.
This nod just solidifies the fact that Calgary has a great food scene.
