The Stampede is known for its fun food experiences, and the new Midway foods for 2025 were announced — so you can prepare your tastebuds for a wild ride. When we say wild, we mean it. This year the food is looking as creative as ever, with special twists and unexpected flavour combinations that will have you lining up to try.
There are over 50 new Midway foods, but the Calgary Stampede press release highlighted some of the stand-outs that you can expect. Over 70 "food exhibitors" will be lining the Midway during the Stampede — which runs from from July 4 to July 13.
A highlight of the food line-up this year is the "Spam-pede Bao," which is an exclusive Stampede dish by The Dumping Hero, named by Stampede Insiders. The press release described it as a "mouthwatering bao bun inspired by a beloved Hawaiian snack, filled with savoury spam, juicy garlic shrimp, sweet pineapple, fresh cucumbers, seaweed and drizzled with teriyaki sauce." So yeah, line up for that one.
There will also be the long-time favs out there for you to enjoy, but a big part of going to the Stampede is checking out all of the fun new flavours.
So, don't forget to save room for these new Stampede eats, because they look mouthwateringly unique.

Melt Town Grilled Cheese is going to be doing a twist on a comfort food classic, with a sweet treat subbing out the bread of the sammie.
