Canada Post Has A Bunch Of New Jobs Across Canada That Don't Need Experience Or A Degree

Get your resume ready.

If you're looking for a job, look no further! Canada Post is hiring for a bunch of new openings across Canada. Some of them require no experience at all.

The national mail company added a number of positions to their online job portal on September 11. Many of those are for the role of post office assistant.

According to the posting, this role involves providing postal products and services for both the public and businesses in the community, sorting mail, distributing forms customers may need and handling problems that come up.

Some qualifications cited in the postings are being a high school graduate or having experience in business administration, training or experience interacting with the public and handling cash transactions, and being physically fit enough to move big containers of mail and standing for long periods of time.

These positions are on-call roles, meaning workers would have to be willing to work temporarily and be called for a shift at any time.

The position also suggested that applicants should live in the community, so they wouldn't have to travel far to get to work.

The pay is pretty solid.

No matter which location you're applying to you could earn at least $17.38/hour. That's above minimum wage in every single province.

Depending on where you want to apply, the closing dates for the majority of these post office assistant roles range from September 23 to October 9.

One of the positions in Nova Scotia closes today though, so get that application in quick!

If this kind of on-call work isn't your thing, Canada Post has a number of other openings on their website for jobs like postal clerk and letter carrier.
