After a 10-year hiatus, Canada's Got Talent is officially returning to Canadian screens!

The talent show, launched by Simon Cowell, is set to air on Citytv and production is expected to kick off this fall.

Naturally, the competition is now searching for Canadians with "ANY talent" to star in the show and here's what you need to know about getting involved.

Who can apply for Canada's Got Talent?

The Canada's Got Talent casting team says it's open to receiving applications from Canadians of "ANY age" with "ANY talent."

Whether you're a singer, dancer, comedian, in a band or something way more unique, the show says everything "weird, wacky and wonderful" is celebrated.

Regardless of where you are in Canada, you can apply for the show online and audition from your very own living room. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no in-person auditions for this stage of the competition.

It's worth noting that if you're under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must consent to your application.

How do you do it?

To submit an application, all you have to do is head to the Canada's Got Talent section of the Citytv website.

Here, you must enter your personal details and answer several questions, including "What makes your act or talent unique?" and "What is the biggest challenge you have overcome in your life and how has your talent helped you through that time?"

Applicants must also share multiple photos of themselves, in addition to uploading a video of their audition.

When is the deadline?

There is currently no official deadline for this process, however, the casting team advises applying "sooner rather than later."

This is because the show is considering Canadians' applications "as they are received," with next-stage interviews set to begin as early as June 2021.

Good luck, Canada!
