Model and television personality Chrissy Teigen announced Wednesday night that she was deleting her famed Twitter account, which has accrued 13.7 million followers in its 10-year activity.

In a string of tweets, Teigen says the platform had been a source of "negatively" rather than "positively" and that it's the "right time to call something."

"For over 10 years, you guys have been my world. I honestly owe so much to this world we have created here. I truly consider so many of you my actual friends," she said.

Teigen was widely known for often producing numerous savage comeback tweets towards people who criticized her, but she says she's "always been portrayed as the strong clap back girl but [she's] just not."

"My desire to be liked and fear of pissing people off has made me somebody you didn’t sign up for, and a different human than I started out here as! Live well, tweeters. Please know all I ever cared about was you!!!" she said in her final tweet.
