3 Recent Flights From BC To Alberta Have Been Linked To COVID-19 Cases
If you've taken a flight from B.C. to Alberta in the past few days, you might want to keep an eye out for COVID-19 symptoms.
Three separate WestJet flights between the two provinces have had passengers test positive for the disease, according to a Thursday, July 16 Twitter post by the BCCDC.
WestJet 166, 130, and 460
Between Wednesday, June 3 and Thursday, July 2.
These flights are: WestJet 166 from Vancouver to Edmonton on Wednesday, June 3, WestJet 130 from Vancouver to Calgary on Thursday, June 11, and WestJet 460 from Kelowna to Calgary on Thursday, July 2.
The BCCDC has stopped telling passengers directly if they'd ridden on a flight exposed to COVID-19; if you've flown recently, check their website or Twitter page for updates.
If you were a passenger of the flights, the BCCDC asks you to self-isolate and watch for symptoms for at least 14 days after your trip.
