A Canadian farmer is getting more attention than they bargained for with their hemp in Alberta.

Lory Betchuk is begging people to stop stealing plants that they could think is weed from his crops.

It's not cannabis.

According to CTV, Betchuck has seen people get out of their cars to grab handfuls of the leafy plants and then drive off again.

Hemp may look similar to marijuana, but it will not give you any kind of high.

Betchuck's field is quite popular among locals, but please be respectful of their hard work and take photos, not leaves.
