Edo Japan Is Selling Its Signature Teriyaki Sauce By The Bottle In Canada

Plus, Edo's celebrating by giving you a chance to win $5k!
Contributor

If this year has taught us anything, it's that there are tons of benefits to cooking and eating at home. We've been able to save money on food, learn new recipes, and trust that we can actually whip up great meals without always resorting to dining out.

Still, it can be tough to find fresh ways to spice up your favourite dishes or take new recipes to the next level.

In comes Edo Japan with their signature Teriyaki Sauce. Fans have been requesting it for decades, and Edo Japan has finally bottled up all of that iconic umami goodness and made it available for *$6.95 plus tax. It can only be purchased at participating restaurant locations across Canada or pre-ordered for pick-up on My Edo App.

Edo Japan

You can now take the glorious taste of Edo Japan home with you and cook up a storm. Handy, right? It's the same Teriyaki Sauce that you know and love, bottled up and ready for eating. It enhances pretty much all of your favourite dishes: use it to top off your burger, slather it on a steak, drizzle it on salmon, dip wings in it — the possibilities are endless.

But it gets even better. Edo regulars will already be familiar with the question "how many scoops?" (aka the number of scoops of teriyaki sauce added to each customer’s teriyaki meal). So to celebrate the new question of "how many bottles?" Edo Japan has come up with a fun contest.

Edo Japan

It's called the "But Who's Counting?" contest, and it's super easy to enter. Beginning the week of November 2, Edo will release a new video on their website every week for five weeks. All you have to do is count the number of bottles of teriyaki sauce that you see in the video, then fill out the entry form with your best guess and your email address.

Voilà! You're automatically entered in the draw to win $5,000. Each new video is another chance to enter the contest, so make sure you follow Edo on Instagram and Facebook to catch their new weekly video announcement — not to mention the winner announcement on December 9!

Edo Japan

Serving Japanese-inspired teppan-style meals made fresh by hand, Edo Japan has been a popular Canadian brand for over forty years. Their signature Teriyaki Sauce is arguably what put them on the map, so it's no wonder why tons of Edo-lovers are excited about this long-awaited release.

Their signature Teriyaki Sauce is available exclusively either in-store at participating Edo Japan restaurants or by pre-ordering it for pick-up via My Edo App. The app offers tons of convenient options, like pre-ordering your meal and pre-paying for it before going to pick it up. That's right — no lineups! You can easily customize your choices at the click of a button and even earn rewards like free meals.

Edo Japan

Edo Japan's "But Who’s Counting?" contest, where you can win $5,000, is the icing on the cake (or sauce on the noodles!) to taking home their practical and oh-so-delicious signature Teriyaki Sauce.

Pre-order and pick up your bottle of Edo Japan's signature Teriyaki Sauce on My Edo App while supplies last. Be sure to enter their "But Who's Counting?" contest here for the chance to win $5,000!

*Prices may vary by location and ordering platform.

One prize of $5,000 CAD will be awarded. Winner chosen at random based on eligible participant entries throughout Canada except Quebec. Odds of winning depend on number of entries. No purchase necessary. See Official Rules for details.
