A convenient way to enjoy a nutritious meal with a jam-packed schedule.
Evive's Pre-Made Vegan Lunch Cubes Just Launched In Canada & They’ll Make Your Life Easier

If there's one thing that can make it difficult to savour nutritionally balanced meals daily, it's having a busy lifestyle. While there's nothing wrong with having different work commitments or being a mama on-the-go, it can be tough to find time to whip up healthy meals with a hectic schedule.

For those that do have more time to cook and are interested in starting a vegan or vegetarian diet, you might not be sure where to start.

Thankfully, there's a solution to both: Evive Nutrition, a Canadian brand that originated in Sherbrooke, Quebec, in 2015. Noticing there was a gap in the Canadian market for wholesome vegan meals that were delicious and quick to prep, co-founders Dominic Dubé and Claudia Poulin had the idea to create high-quality, organic frozen smoothies in cube form.

Always looking for ways to innovate and make healthy eating more accessible, the company just launched their new frozen 2-in-1 lunch cubes. Unlike any frozen meal you've come across before, Evive's pre-made cubes take up little space in your freezer.

Ranging from soups and bowls to smoothies, every high-quality cubed meal is carefully crafted with a blend of organic fruits and vegetables, superfoods, and plant-based proteins.

Containing zero added sugar and no artificial flavours or preservatives, the lunches are also gluten-free, vegan-friendly, non-GMO, and of course, Canadian-made. It's basically the tasty, healthy meal of your dreams — ready in no time.

In the middle of winter, there's nothing better than a warm meal — especially when it's effortless to make. Evive has three frozen lunch cube flavours that can be prepped as either a soup or bowl.

Bam Chili

Evive's Bam Chili is known to be full of brain-supporting antioxidants.

Including traditional ingredients from Mexico, this meal features black beans, quinoa, pumpkin seeds, onion, avocado, carrot, green beans, red bell pepper, sun-dried tomatoes, and other savoury additions.

There's some spice to lend a touch of heat to this hearty dish, but the sweet corn balances out the jalapeños for an explosion of flavour in every bite.

Mac Squash

Mac Squash is a great choice for anyone who wants a little more brain support and some glowing skin.

With loads of health-boosting ingredients, this meal includes butternut squash, carrot, onion, garlic, turmeric and more. The cashews and nutritional yeast create an irresistible (and wholesome) cheese-like sauce.

Here's a fun tip: melt these cubes over your favourite short pasta to make a gooey, mouth-watering mac 'n cheese. Yum!

Tom Thaï

For those interested in glowing skin and a feel-good meal, Tom Thaï is a top option.

Some key ingredients include coconut cream, dates, zucchini, sunflower seeds, lemongrass, cilantro, garlic, curry powder, and chili pepper.

With Southeast Asian-inspired flavours, this dish is bursting with freshness and zest. The zing of ginger and the bite of protein-rich edamame are a treat for your tastebuds.

How To Prep The 2-In-1 Lunch Cubes

You can enjoy any of these versatile frozen meals as a soup or bowl in as little as 5 minutes.

For a soup, simply pop your cubes into 2/3 cup of boiling water or microwave for three to four minutes, stirring halfway. Once it's all mixed together, let it cool off, and dig in!

For a bowl, add your cubes to a pan and heat them up on the stove for five minutes, or place them in a microwave-safe bowl and warm them up for four minutes. Once they've melted, pour your Evive lunch over top of any one of their pre-cooked accompaniments, which include pasta, quinoa and cauliflower rice.

These allow you to create endless unique combinations of nutritious meals packed with flavour and tasty wholesomeness. By simply combining Mac Squash to Cauliflower rice instead of macaroni, you can create a voluptuous risotto that would leave Gordon Ramsay speechless.

Evive's accompaniments are designed so that you can prepare a quick meal cooked to absolute perfection in as little as 3 easy steps. Because nothing can ruin a meal like soggy noodles or undercooked rice.

Yes — it's really that easy.

Evive's Frozen Smoothie Cubes

If soups and bowls aren't your thing, Evive also offers tons of delicious, antioxidant-packed smoothies, ranging from green to orange peach and everything in between.

With 18 grams of protein per wheel, the uniquely tart and exotic Passion Mango will remind you of a tropical paradise with passionfruit, mango, and banana.

Also coming in at 18 grams of protein per wheel, the decadent Cashew Mocha delivers breakfast and coffee together in one. Not only will you get your daily dose of caffeine, but you'll reap the added benefits of hidden vegetables like zucchini and spinach.

With flavours reminiscent of candy and lemonade, the refreshing Saphir smoothie boasts a stunning blue hue and tastes just as wonderful as it looks, featuring banana, pineapple, blue spirulina, coconut cream and more.

These are just a few examples of Evive's delightful smoothies. You can find over 14 flavours on their website.

Preparing them is as easy as popping the cubes into a bottle, topping with your favourite liquid, and either letting them melt for 20 minutes or blending it yourself. Shake it up and enjoy!

Whether you're interested in their warm lunch meals or one-of-a-kind smoothies, Evive is available at over 2,000 stores nationwide. You can also order online through their subscription program and get your goods delivered for free anywhere in Canada. Plus, you can get $10 off your first order by using the promo code NARCITY10.

Why wait to get your hands on healthy, nutritionally dense meals that taste amazing and require virtually no effort? It might be a while before your busy schedule slows down, so make the most of it by staying healthy and fueling up with powerful blends of vitamins.
