You can take a trip to Italy without even having to leave California by going on a holiday-themed gondola ride in Long Beach.

The "Sleighs on the Bay" cruise takes you on a watery ride through the Islands of Naples (again, still in California) where you'll be completely surrounded by Christmas lights and festive decor.

Most of the state is on lockdown right now, but this is one outdoor holiday festivity that keeps on keeping on.

The whole scene looks like something out of a Christmas-themed fairytale.

The canals of Naples are covered in holiday lights and it is downright magical.

The regular-sized gondolas fit up to six, and larger ones can be rented that fit up to 14 people, for what they call a "Venetian sleigh ride."

The cruises are happening every night through to December 30 of this year.
