It's almost the most wonderful time of the year! 2020's Hallmark Christmas movies will start airing soon and there are quite a few with Canadian connections. The True North is well represented for the holidays.

Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas for this year will premiere 39 brand-new movies for us to enjoy throughout the season.

It all starts on October 31 with a special early premiere and then new originals will air every Saturday and Sunday.

You can catch the movies on W Network until January 1, 2021.

There are 22 Canadian films in Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas this year.

That means there are connections to Canada whether it be in front of the camera with actors, behind the camera with directors, crew and production companies or the filming location.

Here are seven of the 22 Hallmark holiday originals that have Canadian connections.
