Valley of Fire State Park is just under a two-hour drive away from Las Vegas and is filled with gorgeous desert scenery and hikes.

The burnt amber and rust-colored hills will whisk you away to a fall wonderland.

You can spend the day exploring the numerous trails in the area, or pick your favorite and snap some incredibly stunning photos.

Don't forget to pack a giant thermos of your favorite drink. 

Entry only costs $10, and there are 40,000 acres of open space to fill your wanderlust.

The park is steeped in rich history, and you can get a taste of it while you trek through the different pathways.

According to the official website, the area "contains ancient, petrified trees and petroglyphs dating back more than 2,000 years."

You'll find winding canyons and stunning rock formations at every turn, and the scenic drive is worth a go even if you're not in the mood for a hike.

You might even feel like you're exploring the inside of a Jack-O-Lantern in some spots.

It's never too early to get in the Halloween spirit, and this destination will let you immerse yourself in the cinnamon, spice, and everything nice mood.
