You don't have to leave Ontario to discover one of Canada's "most beautiful" destinations. This region is just a road trip from Toronto and boasts soft sand shores, cute towns and endless attractions.

We recently asked Narcity readers on Facebook for the most beautiful destinations they've ever been to in Canada, and this Ontario region was one of the spots mentioned.

The Niagara region is a stunning destination featuring rolling vineyards, sun-soaked towns, natural wonders, and more.

It's a magical spot to explore during the summer months when it comes alive with beach days, scenic patios and waterfall views.

There are several enchanting small towns dotted around the area. Niagara-on-the-Lake is one of the most popular villages to explore and is complete with flower-lined streets, old-world shops, European vibes and endless wineries.

You can also head to Jordan Village, a cozy hidden gem that's straight out of a storybook.

If you're craving a beach town adventure, Port Dalhousie is a quaint little neighbourhood with lakeside views, incredible dining and more. Or, visit Crystal Beach, where you'll find breathtaking white sand shores.

The most famous attraction in the area is Niagara Falls, a breathtaking natural wonder that draws millions of visitors each year. While in the area, you can enjoy adventures like the Niagara SkyWheel, Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara Parks Power Station, and Niagara City Cruises.

Niagara is known for its wine scene, so you'll want to stop by some of its picturesque wineries. Peller Estates, Trius Winery and Konzelmann Estate Winery are a few to check out.

The area also boasts beautiful fruit farms, cycling routes and scenic hikes, making it an ideal spot for a summer escape.

With natural wonders, dreamy villages and rolling vineyards, it's no surprise that readers call the Niagara region one of Canada's "most beautiful" destinations.
