Ontario Gas Prices Are Set To Drop Tomorrow & This City Will Have The Best Savings

You might want to wait until tomorrow, folks!

Ontario gas prices are predicted to drop tomorrow and you'll want to hold off on fuelling up today and head to your nearest station to fill up your car on Wednesday.

It'll be some much-needed relief after a rough start to the year for gas prices in Ontario, especially in Toronto.

So hang in there until Wednesday!

Why you should care: Gas analyst Dan McTeague shared on Tuesday that gas prices are finally set to drop on Wednesday, bringing totals in the province down after three days of being on a high standstill, which means your wallet will thank you the next time you fill your car up.

ICYMI: According to Gas Wizard, Toronto has had the highest gas prices over the past three days from the start of the year, sitting at 150.9 cents per litre.

It wasn't looking good for motorists, but on Tuesday, McTeague shared that he expects gas prices to drop three cents on Wednesday. Hopefully this will be the start of a downward trend.

What comes next: Cities like Toronto, Brampton, Barrie, Hamilton, Niagara, Ottawa and Windsor will see a 3-cent drop in prices, taking them from an average of 150.9 cents per litre to 147.9 cents per litre on Wednesday, according to Gas Wizard.

The city that will see the most savings and is predicted to be the cheapest place to fuel up in Ontario is Peterborough, with gas prices expected to drop to 131.3 cents per litre after a 0.6 cent decrease.

Next in line is Cornwall, which could see 138.9 cents per litre after a 2-cent decrease on Wednesday.

So, if you're passing through these two Ontario cities, you might want to pay the gas stations a visit before heading anywhere else in the province to save some real dollars.
