Ontario Hair Salon Hit With COVID-19 Outbreak & Customers Need To Self-Isolate

Customers of an Ontario hair salon are being instructed to self-isolate following a recent COVID-19 outbreak.

According to the Durham Region Health Department, anyone who visited Supercuts on 570 Kingston Rd. in Pickering, between March 18-21 is being warned of a potential "high-risk of exposure."

"All patrons who attended Supercuts during this time-period must self-isolate for 14 days from the last day they were at this location," the health department stated.

Exposed individuals are also being instructed to seek COVID-19 testing as soon as possible.

Durham Region is currently in the red zone, which allows personal care services to operate with restrictions.
