Environment Canada has issued an Ontario tornado watch and severe thunderstorm warning for Goderich, Bluewater, and Southern Huron Counties.

They say that the storm systems are capable of producing strong wind gusts, pea to dime size hail, and heavy rain. Winds could reach up to 90 km/h, and 25 to 50 millimetres of rain could fall on the shores of Lake Huron.

Environment Canada

Environment Canada suggests being prepared for an emergency, including weather damage or a power outage, and to "take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches."

In case of a tornado, they also recommend relocating to the lowest point in your home, away from walls and windows, and to protect your head from flying debris.
