Dragons, sword fights, knights, and turkey legs, what’s not to love about medieval times?! This fantastical realm may be a bygone age, but in The City Beautiful, it’s much closer than you’d think, and you can experience the magic for yourself at Orlando restaurant Medieval Times once again. There may not be any dragons at this thrilling dinner show, but there’s plenty of dramatic fight scenes, shining armor, and king-sized drumsticks to go around.

Like many establishments, when the novel coronavirus hit The Sunshine State, Medieval Times had to close the castle gates to the public. Earlier this week, the drawbridge was lowered once again to welcome guests back to the show.

There are some adjustments to get used to, but all the magic that you’ve loved over the years is still thriving.

For the time being, the castle will be operating at a limited capacity, with six feet between parties, and increased cleaning procedures. Both team members and guests will undergo temperature checks before entering, and masks are mandatory for all.

To minimize high-touch points, disposable silverware and straws are available for guests upon request, as well as a digital drink menu.

Tickets for shows this month are already available. And don’t worry if you had a previous ticket that was impacted by the lockdown, they’ll still honor it and credit it to your account.

While her loyal subjects were away, Her Majesty’s Court was quite busy.

Cloth from the costume department was made into masks to donate to front line and essential workers, and the horses, birds, and castle have been kept in tip-top shape.

Experience the ultimate throwback to the magical age of the Medieval Times, and dine like the kings and queens you are once again!
