This Eatery In Georgia Takes Brunch To A New Level With DIY Breakfast Tables

Not your average date spot.
Contributor

If there's one thing most people can bond over, it's their love for a meal between breakfast and lunch. After a long Saturday night out, grabbing some brunch the next day is a key move. This restaurant in Savannah takes its meals to the next level with DIY breakfast tables.

The Funky Brunch Cafe is just what you would think it would be. It's located in downtown Savannah, Georgia and is a popular spot on the weekends.

You can either be seated at a table with a huge griddle to make your own pancake creations, or you can sit at a regular tabletop if that's not your thing.

They call it "Flippin' Funky At The Table." This is a great experience for large groups, or if you're trying to spice up a date.

It comes with one 10oz buttermilk, multi-grain or gluten-free (+1.00) batter and one topping, according to the official website.

You can choose from chocolate chips, Reese's Pieces, bananas, apple pieces, strawberries, almonds, walnuts, pecans, coconut, butterscotch, chips, granola, peanut butter, whipped cream, raspberries, berry blend or blueberries.

When you order, you'll be served with a bottle full of pancake batter. This gives you the opportunity to become the Picasso of Flapjacks and create your own masterpiece.

One review on the website states, "This was by far the most fun place to eat in Savannah! We had so much fun making our own pancakes with different mix-ins."

This spot also serves up regular breakfast too. There's everything from your classic biscuits and gravy and delicious omelets, to french toast and creole grits.

Savannah is full of cool, hidden and out of the ordinary spots like this one, you just have to search and find them.
