Calgary Police are investigating two shootings that took place on Sunday in the communities of Radisson Heights and Penbrooke Meadows. The incidents mean there have been three shootings in the city in one week, with two people dead and at least two more injured.

According to Calgary Police, the first incident occurred at 4:40 a.m. on Sunday, August 2021, at the Ambassador Restaurant and Bar. Officers were responding to reports of gunshots and found a man with "what appeared to be a gunshot wound."

Calgarians are being asked to avoid part of the Evergreen community this morning after a shooting incident left one person dead and another in a "life-threatening condition."

In a series of tweets, Calgary Police said they were called to the 100 block of Everwoods Court S.W. at around 8:20 a.m. after receiving reports of two people in medical distress.

Calgary Police has released CCTV footage of the main suspect in its investigation into a "shooting and collision" incident which took place at the intersection of 36 Street and 17 Avenue Southeast on Tuesday, May 10.

Police have been investigating the circumstances that led to the incident in the death of 40-year-old Angela McKenzie. Police were called with reports of two cars driving erratically on 36 Street and exchanging gunfire, before colliding with two unrelated vehicles. The suspects then fled on foot.

A 40-year-old woman who was killed in a "disturbing road rage incident" on Tuesday, May 10, has been identified by friends and family as Angela McKenzie, a mother to five children.

In a tribute on Facebook, a friend of McKenzie's, Wendy Goetz, said she was a "beautiful soul, a rare gem of pure love and kindness."

Calgary police are investigating a "disturbing" road rage incident, which left a woman dead and a man injured.

On Tuesday at about 11:10 p.m., officers received reports of two vehicles exchanging gunfire as they drove, according to a recent social media post by police. Stray bullets from the road rage shooting hit at least two homes, and an uninvolved driver died at the scene.
