A 21-Year-Old Was Killed Outside Of LCBO In Scarborough Yesterday

He was shot after a reported argument over social distancing.

A 21-year-old Toronto man was shot and killed in a Scarborough LCBO parking lot yesterday evening, police say.

Jakub Sudomericky was making a purchase at an LCBO located at 3111 Danforth Avenue at approximately 5:30 p.m. when he became involved in a verbal argument with a couple.

CP24 is reporting that the altercation took place over social distancing measures.

[Jakub Sudomericky] was seen running through the parking lot and gun shots were heard and then was seen laying on the ground. 

Toronto Police 

20-year-old Michael Roberts was arrested and charged with first-degree murder by Toronto Police.

The LCBO where the incident took place tweeted out a statement.

"With sadness we confirm an incident occurred yesterday outside of our location at 3111 Danforth Ave in Scarborough, resulting in a single fatality," said the company.

"We offer our sympathies to the family of the deceased & are working with local law enforcement on this active investigation."
