A Toronto Police Officer Was Spotted Wearing A Punisher Patch On His Uniform (PHOTO)

He has since been asked to remove it.

An ominous patch was spotted on the uniform of a Toronto police officer. It featured the skull logo worn by the Punisher, a character from Marvel comics, along with the phrase "Make no mistake. I am the sheepdog."

Ben Spurr of the Toronto Star noticed the patch this morning during a media briefing and shared a photo of it on Twitter.

He clarified that the excerpt is from the larger phrase, "I may walk among the sheep, but make no mistake, I am the sheepdog."

Toronto Police Service (TPS) was quick to respond to Spurr, stating that the patch is neither "approved nor appropriate."

The officer in question was asked to remove the item immediately and will receive internal discipline. TPS has yet to make an official statement on the matter.

The Punisher, whose story has been featured in comics, films, and television, is often depicted as a vigilante who takes justice into his own hands.
