A Woman Was Hit By A Train In Toronto & Police Are Treating It As Suspicious

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Describing the situation as “unknown trouble,” officials have confirmed that a woman was hit by a train in Toronto. She suffered very serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a tweet on September 7, Toronto Police confirmed that they’re treating the incident as suspicious.

While few details have been shared, officers say the incident occurred near Weston Road and Black Creek Drive, at around 5:51 a.m. on Monday morning.

The short message from police says that a woman was “struck by train” and that her injuries were “very serious.”

Medics were present, but the person was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

The UP Express service was suspended for several hours, but service has now resumed.
