The Blue Jays All-Star Jersey Has The US Flag On It & Canadians Are Like WTF

"I know! We'll make the American flag in Canadian colours, that covers all our bases!"

The past year has been difficult for Canadian sports fans, largely due to the fact that residents had to watch some of their favourite teams get shipped to the U.S.

As if that wasn't painful enough, the MLB now appears to be paying tribute to the Toronto Blue Jays' time in the States by stamping the American flag on the team's new All-Star jersey.

It seems that die-hard fans aren't too happy with the bold design.

The jersey, which has the Blue Jays logo on the front with the letters "TOR" behind it, starts by paying tribute to its Toronto roots.

However, the sleeve, which showcases a solid red American flag seems to tell a different story.

While a lot of Blue Jays fans were caught questioning why it wasn't the Canadian flag on the jersey, other fans were a little harsher.

"I know! We'll make the American flag in Canadian colours, that covers all our bases!" wrote one Reddit user.

While another just showed their sheer confusion for the choice.

"This is like a jersey your aunt - who has no idea about baseball...or the history of the sport...or baseball uniforms in general, would give you as a Christmas gift," wrote another user.
