Residents are mourning the loss of three children and one adult after a car accident that took place on Thursday. Mayor Patrick Brown has spoken out about the tragic incident and has even revealed details about the accused Brampton car crash driver. According to Brown, the motorist had a prohibited licence and multiple driving offences.

The multi-vehicle crash took place around noon at Countryside Drive and Torbram Road in Brampton.

According to CP24, the driver was seen speeding through an intersection with a police car behind him when he collided into the other vehicle. The SIU is now investigating the incident.

Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown weighed in on the tragedy on Thursday evening, demanding jail time for the 20-year-old driver.

He states that the motorist had plates that didn't match his car and that multiple driving offences had also been issued to the young man.

“Even worse, this reckless 20-year-old driver had a prohibited license for multiple driving offenses. He had plates that didn’t match his car. He only has a broken leg, but his victims have had their lives stolen. This is criminal negligence causing death. He belongs in jail,” the mayor tweeted out.

"I am infuriated that a reckless driving incident would rob this family of their future. Rest In Peace," he continued.

Since the accident, it has been reported by the Toronto Sun that the victims include 37-year-old Karolina Ciasullo and her three daughters who were six, four, and one year old.

A GoFundMe fundraiser has also been started to help the family pay for funeral expenses. The page has reportedly been set up by a friend of the families.

"I have decided to create this fundraiser in an effort to assist the families with the difficult days ahead. I simply ask for all of you to spread the word and share and post if you're able. I will be forever indebted for all your efforts. We love and miss you Karolina, Klara Lilianna & Mila," it reads.

As of Friday morning, the page has raised $22,000 of its $30,000 goal.
