One Ontario lottery winner scored big on INSTANT JACKPOT this month and it was the best Mother's Day present she could have asked for.

According to OLG, Sarah Bardoel, a 34-year-old mother of three, was playing her tickets at home when she discovered she had won $250,000.

"The big win was on the first line I scratched. I had to look at it a few times to believe it," she told OLG. "It feels like a dream."

The Chatham resident, who discovered her big win on Mother's Day, is planning on using her new winnings to help out her children.

She will also work towards paying off some bills and putting some of the cash towards a down payment for a new house.
