You don't even need a pair of hiking boots to reach this extraordinary Ontario waterfall.

The falls trail in Pottawatomi Conservation Area is so easy that you'll reach the main attraction in five minutes.

To start the half-kilometre trek, you'll find the entrance next to the parking lot close to the visitor's centre.

It will take you past an old-growth forest, wildflowers and right to the cascade that tumbles down 12 metres.

Unlike many of the other waterfalls in the area, you aren't limited to a viewing platform.

Instead, you can walk right up the base of the falls to enjoy an up-close look.
