Trump Just Announced He Will Not Be Attending Joe Biden's Inauguration

Donald Trump admitted defeat in a video announcement Thursday night, though he still seems to be very frustrated with the situation.

His decision to skip out on the ceremony makes him the first departing president to refuse to attend their successor's inauguration since 1869.
The last president that chose to not attend the ceremony was Andrew Johnson, who was actually impeached in 1868.
It seems that multiple Twitter users are not really surprised by the decision, and actually quite excited about it.
Though he will not be in attendance at the inauguration ceremony, President Trump did say he is committing to a "smooth, orderly, and seamless transfer of power," after months of denying the election results.
